About
A complete rebuild of omniproclean.com for a Denver commercial janitorial contractor — a Colorado corporation in continuous good standing since 1994. The old WordPress one-pager, its copy untouched since October 2018, became four static Next.js routes with a JSON-backed inline editor: the owners click text on the live page, change it, and publish. Every substantive sentence the old site published is preserved word-for-word, and a build-failing verification script asserts all 105 of them are still there.
The design opens with a ruled register of the gating facts a facility manager actually checks — subcontractors: none; personnel: all background checked; coverage: insured and bonded; reachability: 24/7 — instead of a slogan over a photograph. The palette is measured off the client's own thirty-year logo, with safety yellow lifted from the painted aisle lines in their photographs. Along the way the build corrected the client's own tenure: the Secretary of State register shows a 27 April 1994 formation, so the old site had been underselling the business by seven years — for eight years.
Before and after

omniproclean.com · WordPressKey features
- 01JSON-backed inline editor: click any sentence or image on the live page, edit, publish — one commit to GitHub, no CMS backend
- 02Hardened OAuth publish flow: asserted popup origin, single-use state in an HttpOnly cookie, a real push-permission check — not the leaky postMessage("*") pattern the genre copies
- 03verify:content walks all 105 sentences from the archived WordPress capture and fails the build if one goes missing
- 04Image discipline: 827 media records audited, 764 watermarked Google Earth screenshots excluded, a 1000px source floor enforced at build time
- 05Every old anchor kept as a real element id and every old WordPress path 308-redirected — link equity preserved
- 06Founding date corrected against the Colorado Secretary of State register (27 April 1994) and locked by verify:tenure so the copy can never drift again
- 07Cover-sheet design: the first screen is a ruled register of gating facts, not a promise — a check cell is the only mark on the site
- 08Palette measured off the client's logo (navy hue 218, red hue 354) with safety yellow lifted from their own photographs
- 09ProfessionalService structured data with the full service catalogue and all sixteen cities, per-route metadata, and a sitemap — where there was none
- 10Six independent reviewers plus a refutation pass: 32 findings filed, 12 survived scrutiny, every one fixed
