Colophon
The rules below are the ones this site holds itself to. Each names the file that enforces it.
They turn up in project after project. Nobody asked for any of them. They are how I find out whether the thing worked.
studio · live compositing · multi-camera · a sandboxed capture window
Nothing here is third-party: no analytics service, no advertising, no scripts from anyone else’s domain. The fonts are Google’s and they are served from this domain, because the build downloads them rather than linking to them.
The site keeps its own visit log. Each page you open is one row — the path, the site that referred you, the country, and whether the device is a phone — and when you leave, your browser reports how long the page was open and how far you scrolled. No IP address is stored, nothing is fingerprinted, rows are deleted after twelve months, and none of it is shared with anyone.
Two cookies, both mine. One is a random id that groups a single visit’s pages and ends with your browser session. The other exists only if you arrived on a link I sent you: a short code that tells me my link was opened, that a later visit was the same link coming back, and whether the résumé was downloaded. I issue those codes by hand, to people I am already talking to; the site does not identify anyone else.
One flag is kept in your browser’s session storage: it remembers that you have already watched the contour lines draw, so they stop redrawing on every page. It goes when you close the tab.
The contact form sends one message to my inbox. To rate-limit submissions it keeps your IP address in memory for ten minutes. The visit log records that a message was sent and which link it came from — never the message or your address. Vercel hosts the site and keeps its own request logs, the way every host does.
