A complete rebuild of dmneuman.com for a Glenwood Springs general contractor established 1982. Before a line of the new site was written, the old GoDaddy Website Builder site was archived in full: 103 photographs pulled through GoDaddy's image proxy at the highest resolution it would serve — including 46 portfolio images reachable only through JavaScript carousels, extracted from the widget bundles — and three client testimonials the old site had been truncating mid-sentence, recovered whole from the rendered DOM.
The rebuild is a static Next.js 16 site with a JSON-backed inline editor: the owner clicks text on the live page, changes it, and publishes — one GitHub commit, no WordPress, no database, no plugin surface to patch. The design is the builder's record: condensed Big Shoulders display type set very large against very small mono metadata, a near-black iron ground with warm site-paper, square corners throughout, and one drafting gesture — a dimension line, used only where measurement is true.
