hyprstate
Every repo becomes its own Hyprland workspace band with a live dashboard hub — one Node server, one Python CLI, one Lua file, a Quickshell rail; 494 headless tests, 7 States and 38 workspaces proven at 120 Hz

About
A per-project workspace system for Hyprland. Each repository under my work directory is a Connection with a TOML manifest; opening it as a State claims a band of workspace ids, launches a Chrome app hub with git, deploy, database, analytics, error-tracker and agent-session instruments ranked into a brief with calm, attend and alarm postures, and gives it child Session workspaces. A State Master page shows every Connection in persona columns. Gestures live in the compositor's Lua config, and a Rail of live Session thumbnails is an omarchy-shell panel plugin drawn by hyprfacet.
It was built in six days against a contract frozen in the first commit: manifest schema, workspace-id bands, the CLI grammar and the tag scheme. Five parallel lanes built to it. Windows are claimed by diffing the compositor's client list before and after launch, ledgered, and closed from the ledger only, so a teardown never touches a window the tool did not open.
Key features
- 01Contract commit first: manifest v2, registry, workspace-id bands, rail.json and the hs grammar frozen before any lane started
- 02Node 26 server with zero npm dependencies and no build step, bound to 127.0.0.1 only; Python 3.14 stdlib CLI
- 03Window claiming by address diff → ledger → class-checked match; teardown closes only what the ledger holds
- 04Ranked brief per State: git, Vercel, Supabase KPIs, GA4, Search Console, Sentry, agent sessions, inbox — each row with a posture
- 05Generated hyprstate-states.lua; a heal↔reload storm closed by never rewriting an unchanged file
- 06Rail study: five presentation modes measured on two monitors with pixel-exact predictions; slideout won
- 07omarchy-shell panel plugin hot-loaded in about a second, unloaded leaving shell.json byte-identical
- 08Headless suite: 30 test files, 494 of 494 passing; Python and Node parity tests on the workspace-id math
- 09Hardware proof: 7 States, 38 workspaces, hyprctl max 3 ms, Grid of 6 tiles in 72 ms, 119.9 of 120 Hz delivered
